Very nice employees. Always helpful. We have never had a problem with our mail here. There is limited staff and hours.
This post office is an absolute joke. Not only are the employees rude and unhelpful, but they are also incompetent. I called on a Tuesday to ask about a $300 check that was accidentally addressed my physical address instead of my P.O Box. The woman on the phone was a JERK to me. She was short and spoke dismissively to me. Sorry for interrupting the hive of productivity that is the Elkins post office, but I just wanted to know what would happen in this scenario. I was told that the check would be mailed back to the sender. This was fine with me, because at least I knew where my check was. Fast forward to Saturday. I receive a call from a woman who lives several roads over that she has received a piece of my mail. When I went to pick up what I thought would be junk mail I was handed my check. It's a good thing I knew this woman otherwise I most likely would have lost $300 dollars due to this branch. If you want your mail treated with seriousness I suggest that you bring your business to another post office. ELKINS POST OFFICE, YOU HAVE DISAPPOINTED ME.
Very friendly staff. Wish it was open later though....only reason I gave 4 stars.....
